WHY IS MAIT BETTER THAN OTHER COLLEGES IN DELHI?

MAHARAJA AGRASEN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY [MAIT]

MAIT

This is called the best college for b.tech in the GURU GOBIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY.

Let’s learn why is this called so?

At MAIT, you’ll most likely never find any teacher absent and every single teacher has a great knowledge of his or her subject. Thus, full marks for the faculty. There’s no strictness in terms of attendance so you can get involved in anything constructive at the college or at home if you want to. The problem with MAIT is its societies. They aren’t funded very well or for that matter even supported by the college much. There is a similar problem faced for the Cultural Fest of MAIT. Campus Facilities The faculty is good and regular. Campus Life Departmental societies, as well as cultural societies, need improvement, funding and support. Jobs & Internships Most of the companies that come for recruitment here are IT companies. Thus, there isn’t much help for other core branches.

Placements : The placements in our college were good but not too good. Most of the students got placed but very few very able to grab the highest package. The highest salary offered last year was around 12 LPA, and the average package offered was around 4-5 LPA. The college as a placement cell.

Infrastructure : Classrooms are neat and clean. Labs are good and are air-conditioned. The college promotes participation in sports. The canteen is the chillout spot for students. Some of the food items are very tasty. There is an Amul parlour too, which serves the best cold coffee in the world.

Faculty : The teachers are really very kind and always helpful to the students. They have knowledge and experience, and they always guide us. They encourage us to broaden our view of thinking and avoid spoon feeding. Understanding the concept and being able to implement it is the approach they persuade us to follow.

The college building is pretty impressive and has one of a kind infrastructure. The stereotype red brick building has a neat and clean campus and filled with hundreds of students due to the number of courses offered. The classrooms are not air conditioned but have comfortable benches. The library is well equipped with books available in abundance. The teaching department at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is excellent and quite experienced.

Most of them have thorough knowledge about their respective topics and have years of teaching experience. The faculty for Fluid Mechanics in the Engineering Department are very good but agedAttendance is pretty strict during the first year of engineering but second year onwards students get an idea about all the teachers and their attendance patternAs Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is affiliated to the Indraprastha University (IPU), most of the crowd is from Delhi and other parts of the NCR.

The food served in the canteen is pretty edible though the prices are a bit on the higher side. There is a decent variety in the menu and students prefer both packed and freshly prepared food. Companies like Honda and Mahindra are the regular recruiters for the core branches during the placement season. Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and many more software companies recruit students from CS and IT and offer a pay packager around 4 lakhs per annum. The placements for Computers and IT are almost 100% while it’s roughly around 70% for the core branches.

LIFE OF AN ENGINEER

LIFE OF AN ENGINEER

ENGINEERING?

Engineering isn’t a career, it’s a feeling!

Guys, a person should be very careful in deciding engineering as their career.  just do not follow that sheep like behaviour in persuing btech as a career.

  • BASICALLY, WHAT IS ENGINEERING?

Engineering is the application of science and math to solve problems. Engineers figure out how things work and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. … A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible. Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications.

But as we all know expectations is far away different from reality.

Lives of engineers can range from very good to very bad depending upon the nature of person, colleges, studies, jobs and priorities. Everyone should understand this that engineering is not as difficult as it is portrayed to us.

IF CHOCLATES ARE BAD FOR OUR TEETH THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT WE SHOULD STOP EATING THEM!

LIFE OF ENGINEERS?

i would say a real tough one, engineers are sometimes portrayed as very studious people honestly, i believe thy are the least studious ones. They know working smartly and hardly both.

HERE ARE SOME QUALITIES OF AN ENGINEER APART FROM PORTRAYING THEIR DEGREES.

Career Scope-
An engineer can become software developer, bank manager, IAS officer, Business manager or even a BPO assistant.

Values-
There won’t be anything called “Hot chick” in engineering college hence they understand their value and start respecting every girl.

Working under pressure-
Even though he (might have) never experienced “one night stand” ever but he knows how to survive examinations via “one
night studies”

Determination-
Engineers love to sleep, but they never go to bed early. Nights are not made to be spent
sleeping, lecture are.

Meticulous-
Engineers are not lazy they are just highly motivated to procrastinate.

Kindness-
Engineers love everybody, apart from their Deans, scientists, new boyfriend of their ex-girl friends, authors of their curriculum books, power cutoffs and slow internet.

Team Work-
Team Projects and group seminars might have failed to teach them this quality but mass-bunks and proxy attendance will surely teach the value of team work.

Maturity-
Engineers get to know that world is full of dishonest people, when they join the college just because they have read the words like lavishing infrastructure, supporting faculty, 100% placements in their college brochures.
Also when they get to know that girl’s photo they saw on brochure doesn’t exist.

Network and relations-
None of the relatives or any friend’s mom ask them before but once they graduate everyone
calls them at their home (so that they can fix their table fans, mixers or radio transistors).
They recognize people with the mobile phone they carry and their laptop configurations rather than their names or faces.

Fast learning-
Even highly qualified faculty might have failed in teaching them a topic, but he will remember every word of it when his friend dictates it before entering the examination hall.

Learn by Fun-
Playing tic tac toe during class, late night counter strike tournaments, watching T20 with friends and completing Angry birds stages during lab sessions gave engineers more competence than any other sport.

Sacrifice-
Two engineers saw a hot chick in mall,
First reaction: ABE dekh be, Gazab !!
Second reaction: Abey, jaane de yaar aukat ke bahar hai. 😛

Engineers also sacrifice their clean shaved look, to look more hard-working during exams for self motivation.

Resource managements-
Engineers know that a 3G connection and 4Gb pen drive is the first requirement before preparing for practical exams. Engineers know the value of every single bar in Wifi
connectivity symbol and phone batteries.

Staying Healthy-
Engineers never compromise with their health, they stay fit and immune due to regular dosage of maggi and backed-samosa. Having food at Punjabi dhaba and tea at extra-
(un)hygienic Gumti is the part of their diet.

Engineering is not just a degree. It teaches you the way of living life like a warrior.
Engineering gives a perception and attitude. It teaches you the survival.

  • WHAT DO ENGINEERS DO ON JOB?

Engineers – What They DoEngineers apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between scientific discoveries and the commercial applications that meet societal and consumer needs. Many engineers develop new products.

Guys, life isn’t easy any way. Engineering couldn’t be told as a bad option. Follow your passion.

AND AND AND, THE GREATEST MYTH OF THE TIME IS BELOW –

My friends, this is not at all true. being an engineer, it’s just being all rounders and just get out of all the myths and go with the flow!
